What is the Alzheimer Coffee Break®?
Coffee BreakŪ is the Alzheimer Society's major nationwide annual fundraiser where friends,
co-workers and customers gather in communities across Manitoba and Canada to raise funds for local Alzheimer Societies. Participants
at these events make a donation in exchange for a cup of coffee. The money raised in Manitoba stays in Manitoba
to help support local programs and services.
How can you become involved?
You
can host a Coffee Break® fundraiser in your office, at home, at
your church, in a local community club, school or anywhere you can set up a stand for
the day. You can offer tea and juice as well as coffee, and add cookies
or pastries to increase the donations.
Another way to get
involved is by using our coffee cup cut-outs. These cut outs can be
sold
or used as recognition of donations - make a donation and sign a cup.
